Exhibition

Quilts are amazing works of art in which the skill of the maker is to be admired for so masterfully working with fabric and thread to produce such a beautiful object. Many stories lie behind the creation of a quilt and very special memories are created when a quilt is born. There are those memories of the maker who sewed each stitch with love and care to make a quilt that’s able to provide warmth, comfort and security. Then there are the memories evoked by the story or reason for a quilt’s creation, a story which might be very personal and symbolic.

Come along to Quiltarama and enjoy the stories behind the quilts that will be on display this year.

Fundraising

The money raised during Quiltarama will be used by Dungog-Clarence Town CWA for the benefit of the local community.
